PIERCE BROSNAN

Who He is and why he makes hearts twitterpate: There's something about a guy who's had the coveted role of James Bond that just screams sexy for many different reasons, and although I love Pierce as 007, my reasons for putting him in the temple go way back before the days of his drinking vodka martinis shaken, not stirred. I've been a fan of this guy ever since he was doing detective work in a slightly more conventional way, in the role of Remington Steele. I was a mere child, watching the series with my mother, but I still liked it, even if I didn't always understand what was going on. I loved the everlasting dance between Mr. Steele and Laura, always pushing for more, but more often than not, never acheiving it. Like James Bond, Remington Steele had a clever response for everything and was quite resourceful in his detecting abilities (it helps to have made a living as a thief at one point in your life). Incidentally, from what I've heard, Pierce was supposed to have been Her Majesty's Agent many years earlier than things occured. Apparently, he was offered the role, but was unable to get out of his Remington Steele contract so he had to refuse. The part went to Timothy Dalton instead. But then, Remington Steele was cancelled and it was too late for the Bond gig. Or was it? As you Bond fans will know, Timothy Dalton only did 2 Bond movies (The Living Daylights and License to Kill) before he gave it up and so, the part was once again offered to Pierce. And so, the Bond legend continues.
RELATED - Timothy Dalton

The ONE thing that sort of bothers me about Pierce in the role of 007, is that we don't really get to see his smirk (as shown above) quite as much.

Bonded forever? Timothy Dalton, Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan.
